Pianos require regular maintenance, whether they get played once a year or every day.

Standard Tuning- Tuning is the best way to get acquainted with the piano. I tune to A440 (I can tune to other pitches as well, but 440 is the standard and what all modern pianos are designed to be at).

Pitch correction- This is required when the piano is very out of tune, either flat or sharp, and needs two passes of tuning in order to achieve a proper fine tuning. The first pass of tuning gets all of the strings to the correct pitch/tension, then the second pass is a fine tuning.

Repairs- Sticking or sluggish key? Is something broken? No worries, these are all things that can be fixed!

Regulation- Grand or upright, any modern make/model. This is important to keep the parts aligned and working correctly. Christina will thoroughly go through the action and clean, adjust and refine the parts and therefore the touch and tone of the piano.

Dampp Chaser (Piano Lifesaver Systems)- humidity control system installation/ maintenance. certified installer.

Spirio- Christina is a Steinway & Sons certified technician for Spirio work.

Evaluations- Christina is available to take a look at a piano, on site or in home, to help with an insurance claim, give rebuilding estimates, and estimate value for sale of the instrument. Christina has retail and current market experience. She can also assist if you are looking to purchase a piano. It is always a good idea to have a professional take a look at something before spending the money on it, as you don't want to end up with more problems than the piano is worth!
